Add workshop strategies to the 'Toolbox' page. As PYP workshops model the philosophy and pedagogy of the PYP, many of the strategies used in the workshop can be transferred to the classroom.
Example. Think, Pair, Share - Spend individual time thinking about a question or problem. Pair up and discuss ideas together before all students come together to share their ideas with the rest of the class
Let's make a date / Clock Partners - Find your o'clock partner. An easy way to find partners in an efficient way. Can give classrooms a strategy to group and regroup in a timely efficient manner
Landform understanding -
(River, Mountain, Valley, Plateau) a way of assessing a student's feelings or attitudes towards something. In the workshop we used it as a metaphor for how we are feeling about the PYP. Eg: Mountain - I feel like I'm at the bottom of a mountain - I can see the top and know where I need to be but feel there is a long way to go and much to do to get there.
